Antojitos mexicanos in Yakima

I left Yakima several years ago, but absolutely have to stop here when visiting family. Excellent food and friendly staff.

Solid restaurant. The service is quick and the food is flavorful. If it's your first time there is an extensive menu, this isnt a taco truck transitioning to brick and mortar, you may need a little time to browse. It's the only place that I know of, in yakima, that serves menudo. They have a pretty classy setup inside, nothing crazy but bright. I had the Pambazo, first time, it's a red torta of sorts...really delicious. I look forward to doing that one again. Though the ten cent tootsie roll/dinner mint is strange.

Excellent vegetarian veggie burrito - has potatoes, avocado and quality spices. The guacamole salsa is great too. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Excellent!

Absolutely the best food in a humble atmosphere. We started referring to Antojitos Mexicanos as simply "Papa's" when they were originally on Lincoln Avenue. A few years back...I always go for spicey because of the euphoria after the meal. We love the service, and understand some of the staff can be stretched a little during busy times. It seems like family is the bond throughout our experience every time. I always gravitate towards the pambazo, a Sandwich of sorts that is dipped in a sauce and served. Choose your meat for inside. One thing I would like to ask for consideration is beef tongue. I know it may not be a popular choice of meat filling, but I think it would add to the flavour that makes this establishment unique.

Absolutely the best in Yakima!! We eat here all the time. They serve 6 different kinds of salsa and limes! You usually never have to wait, the service is top notch, and the flavors are so different than most Mexican restaurants you go to. I particularly like the taquitos, chavindeca, and tacos pollo al carbon.

I've never really liked Mexican food before but this made me eat the whole thing.

The food here is really good. My favorite thing about this place is their assortment of salsas that are packing with flavor. My favorite salsa is the green avocado salsa that pairs perfectly with their enchiladas. The only reason why I’m giving them a 4 out of 5 is because it seems like they are always closed and on vacation. Otherwise this place is a favorite in Yakima.

This place was amazing, homemade tortillas, 6-different salsas with unlimited refills, and the main dishes were delicious (I had tacos and quesadilla). Good and authentic Mexican food - ate so fast didn't get shot of food.

Food was great! All 4 of us had something different and I went with the Taco salad minus the beans. Place was packed and service was nice. Definitely a place I would go to again.

This is a delightful Mexican restaurant. The fresh handmade corn tortillas are delicious and the selection of salsas is great. Excellent customer service and knowledgeable about gluten-free! We enjoyed everything we tasted.

The house made tortillas were fantastic, along with the varied salsa selection. The rest not so much. It's not that it's bad, rather they don't do much else to stand out.

Just want to say Yakima has surprised me I did not see any that I could find a place that has really good Mexican food for really good price as you see in this picture I had three tacos that was Taco Dorados rice and beans on the side I had guacamole which obviously it's a little bit expensive $3.99 however I'm from California I always have to have my avocado anywhere I go this is the second time I have came here being on Mission I will greatly recommend this place to anyone who wants authentic Mexican food Great atmosphere!

Yakima Washington has some good restaurants but a local Mexican favorite is Antojitos Mexicanos. Antojitos serves some good food from the kids menus to the adult menus. And if you think the food is the only thing that is good the customer service is impeccable to along with the homey feeling and decorations, it feels like a homey Mexican restaurant that feels like living in Mexico. The restaurant has a good selection of food whether in the morning, afternoon or night you could eat the food anytime. The food that’s available is amazing if you never liked a certain Mexican food now you will if you eat here.

My family and I used to go here weekly. We moved to Colorado and then to Nebraska! I have yet to find any place like it. I miss the homemade tortillas, avocado sauce. Mostly the friendly faces. Fist place I will stop when I visit home.

Whenever we are in Yakima, this is our “can’t miss.” The service is warm, welcoming and efficient to handle the non stop diners. Never disappointing, this is always a truly. Delicious Mexican meal, we are sophisticated travelers who have traveled in Mexico for seven plus decades combined; this is the real deal and likely confusing to those who haven’t eaten in the small non.-tourist areas. Fresh. Delicious. Unfailingly good. Great prices for very generous portions. Very clean and lovely.

This place is really Mexican soul food. The torta de milanesa and the sopes are so traditional that you're happy that your living so you can eat here.

Great tasting authentic Mexican food. The mexican decorations and talavera tile make for a true festive Mexican restaurant. Loved the flavors of the food, especially the shredded beef. Only I would have appreciated the waitress telling us the guacamole and chips were extra before we had a chance to see the menu as each had a separate price.

Solid no frills Mexican Restaurant! Great Guacamole and salsa. Our only disappointment was that the Pasole was a bit bland.

Stopped here for a take out dinner and it was well worth it! Great authentic flavors with well seasoned and tender meat. Great portions too for the price! Had leftovers for lunch the next day. :) And the curbside service was fast and friendly during these tricky Covid times.
